looking over Hexham to the North Tyne Valley and yet only
a mile from the centre of the town, Set in nine acres of
garden which is Mrs Clark's pride and joy. This provides
flowers and vegetables all the year round. The house
first built in 1780 is comfortably furnished with antique
furniture, where all are given a friendly welcome and
well fed, mostly local produce from the estate.
Loughbrow is adjacent to the Roman Wall and with
ancient Hexham at the bottom of the hill. It is within
easy distance of the Lake District, Durham and the many
National Trust properties that abound in Northumberland.
Hexham being mid-way between Carlisle and the East Coast
at Tynemouth.
There are three golf courses adjacent. You can walk
over the farm and enjoy breath taking views.
The drawing room is very large but there is a smaller
sitting room if There are two or four guests. There is a
dining room where you are served a full English
breakfast. Should you decide to dine here you will be
served a three course dinner by candlelight with a bottle
of wine, (Minimum four people).
There is a twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom. A
double bedded room with dressing room and en-suite
bathroom and a twin bedded room with private bathroom.
There are also two single bedrooms with another bathroom.
En-suite rooms are £30 per person and double room with
private bathroom is £25 per person and single room £30.
